Founded by Petra Jinglov, Oskar & Ellen have been providing children with beautifully considered imaginative toys for nearly two decades now. "I got the idea to develop fabric toys since we often did long haul flights from Manila to Stockholm with the kids.” Says Petra "I couldn’t find any toys that were educational, soft, quiet (to avoid co- passengers from getting annoyed) nor easy to carry with us.” Their products have always been hand sewn by the same three studios in Manila, Philippines, each of which has approximately 30 employees who also put the toys through thorough safety checks and wash them four times before they are sent out into the world.
